We do everything we can to give our youngsters the best possible learning experience. But there's always more that needs to be done. If you could help we'd love to hear from you.
Are you a community group, charity, sports club, business or individual who has a few hours to spare each week or month? Whatever your skills are, there will be a job you could help us with; We need gardeners, painters, DIYers, admin support, librarians, school-bus cleaners, tea-makers and motivators! We're always looking for volunteers to join our regular group that meets at the school for work and for a great social scene. Whatever contribution you can make, big or small, will help enhance the lives of our children.
Check this page for our next volunteering day. We will be painting classrooms, gardening and doing general jobs around the site. If you want to join us for the day, or just for a couple of hours then please let us know by emailing or phoning the school. We will then confirm with you any specific arrangements for the day. You don’t need to be highly skilled, just willing to have a go and ready to learn new skills. Come and get involved!
Make a donation
Would you like to make a donation - either cash, equipment or materials?
Please speak to the school office who will let you know the best way to donate.
Organise a fundraiser
Are you a whizz in the kitchen? Fancy doing a cake sale to raise funds? Or perhaps you could do a charity cycle ride? Have you got a great idea to fundraise to help Ravenswood? We'd love to hear from you!
If you have any questions about volunteering, donating or fundraising please contact the school on 01275 854134 or email Louise Cummins: firstname.lastname@example.org
Ravenswood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All adults working routinely on the site will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references and will be asked to complete a 'Disclosure by Association' form. All adults working here need to follow our safeguarding policy and the "Guidance for safer working practice for those working with children and young people in education settings" which can be found here.
