Visit to New Siblands School

08 Jan 2014

Blue Class visited New Siblands School to share PE activities and social time with new friends.  The pupils welcomed each other with a smile and wave before joining in the first action song; "The Wheels on The Bus".  This was followed by some running and stopping on the bang of a drum.

After every activity the children were brought back into the middle to join for a different action song.  Next was 'fun with scarves'; throwing and catching before running round waving them high and low.

'Okie Cokie' and 'Head shoulders knees and toes' were two of the action songs enjoyed by both classes.

The pupils then tested their skills working as a team to try and keep a ball on the parachute.

All too soon it was time to relax to gentle music and feel the warm air on our faces.  After so much exercise everyone went back to the classroom for a drink and snack before Ravenswood pupils got back on the bus to return to school.

Everybody had great fun.  Thanks to Jane Hawkes for arranging it.
