We did some great activities for Safer Internet Week. Yesterday, Mrs Clark gave a presentation to Social and Communication Hub parents about e-safety and this was followed by our S and C classes performing some of their dance therapy routines.
Today, pupils in Middle Years Hub took part in ‘Dragons Den’ and pitched their e-safety ideas to a panel of ferocious Dragons - Miss Kyle, Mrs Davis and Mr Pester. Ideas included an e-safety robot that could be joined to a home network and which would email parents, police or shutdown computers as the safety need arose.
Pupils in the 14-19 Hub presented a drama about safer internet use around the idea of travelling on an e-safety bus and encountering questions about e-safety on their journey. Well done to all pupils who took part.
In assembly today, pupils enjoyed the official Safer Internet Day quiz that we sent home last week.
Thank you to all staff and pupils who were involved in organising the events and the parents who came along and supported them.
