A game of curling takes place by taking it in turns to see which team can get their stone closest to the centre circle.
Year 11 was the first class to attempt game 1 achieving 5/ 8. In the second game both teams pushed the stones at the same time to see how many stones they could get on the target. Year 10 had a harder job of playing in the classroom, not deterred by limited space all worked well together to see which team could win. Well done to Venus class for getting 7 out of the 8 stones onto the target. Post 16 had a lot of fun aiming for the target.
Green, Blue and Red class aimed for skittles. Many classes discussed the tactics that were involved in the game and how they could improve.
