Secondary School Council leads assembly to launch the new lanyards

22 Jan 2018

The Secondary School Council can be praised for their determination and effort to pursue lanyards for all School Council Reps.  For some time the reps have felt it would be useful to everyone if they could be easily identified around the school; they could be approached by students for help, support or friendship.  They could also be presented with ideas for changes around the school to be discussed at future meetings.

The reps helped lead the assembly and then proudly collected their lanyards.  They can be worn in school and then left in the classroom at the end of the day.  If they are away for the day or display poor behaviour then the representative has a badge that they can wear as a replacement.

At the next meeting we will discuss the advantages of wearing the lanyards.
