Report of P16's learning for Anti-Bullying Week

30 Nov 2018

P16BJ

The students in Post 16BJ have learnt about behaviours that make us happy and behaviours that make us sad.  All students responded well to this task and were able to sort, mostly independently.  Some students could begin to explain why certain behaviour make others happy or sad.  They have also learnt about safe touch, saying 'no' to things and that they should always tell an adult if they feel unhappy.  All students could name key members of staff in Post 16 and or SLT, who they can talk to if needed.

P16KJ and P16RM

Students discussed the fact that there are many ways to bully others or be on the receiving end of bullying behaviour.  We had some interesting and honest discussions about whether we had helped others who had been bullied and our reasons for getting/not getting involved.  We revisited the law around Cyber bullying and what to do if it ever happens to us.
