Headteacher's Message

As we reach the end of our first week back, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our pupils, families and staff for such a positive start to the new academic year at Ravenswood School.

It has been wonderful to see the school full of energy, enthusiasm and smiling faces once again.  Our pupils have returned ready to learn, reconnect with friends and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.  I have been particularly impressed by the resilience, kindness and
positive attitudes shown across the school.

For those pupils and families who are new to Ravenswood, a very special welcome.  We hope that you have felt supported during your first week and are already beginning to experience the caring and inclusive ethos that makes our school community so special.

Throughout the week, staff have focused on helping pupils settle into their routines, rebuild relationships and establish high expectations for learning and behaviour.  Classrooms have been busy, pupils have engaged enthusiastically in their learning, and there has been sense of purpose around the school.

At Ravenswood, we remain committed to ensuring every pupil feels safe, valued and empowered to achieve their very best.  We look forward to working closely with families throughout the year as we continue to support our pupils in reaching their full potential both academically and personally.

Thank you for your continued support. I am excited about the year ahead and the many
opportunities it will bring for our pupils and wider school community.

Take care,

Mark Senior
