Parents and Friends Association

Your Special School Needs YouWe are proud to have an active Parents and Friends Association that organises many events and activities to raise funds and enhance school-life.  Events include quizzes, social nights, trips and fayres.  If you would like to get involved please come along to one of our friendly, informal meetings (see dates below).

All parents, carers and friends of Ravenswood are invited to attend the committee meetings (Covid restrictions permitting).  Enthusiasm and new ideas are welcome!  If committees are not your thing please offer to help at the events – there is always something to do!

The Ravenswood School Parents and Friends Association is a registered charity (charity number 287758) and the charity consitiution is available here.

Thank you to all those who support the PFA.  Over the last year we have held discos, fayres, bingo, raffles and the ‘Grand Day Out’ to Crealy!  Donations have been made from the PFA to support the after school clubs, leavers ball, play equipment and a much needed wooden storage shed in our Primary Department.  Without your help none of this could happen.

All parents, carers and friends of Ravenswood can join the PFA and help make a difference.  Please contact the school for an informal chat about what we do or join us at our next meeting.  We look forward to seeing you.

Please help our PFA to raise funds!  It's easy to get started and it won't cost you anything!

This year we are fundraising for a beautiful Learn & Play Sensory Outdoor Space!  It will be an extension of the classroom including the essential tools for our pupils to self-regulate in order for them to be in a calm/ alert state and ready to learn, which is essential for their learning!

How can you help ?

You can help raise funds for the school without having to donate anything yourself!  We have 2 really easy ways to do that!  Easy Fundraising and Amazon Smile!  Please sign-up and help us raise more:

Easy Fundraising

Over 7,000 brands and sites will donate to us every time you use #easyfundraising to shop with them - at no extra cost to yourself.  Amazon will also give a donation for every eligible product you buy!  This means you can raise money for us every time you get clothes, groceries, takeaways, insurance, school supplies or anything else you might be buying online anyway.  It’s easy, completely FREE and will make a BIG difference to the school.

Amazon Smile

This is a way you can support your favourite charitable organisations every time you shop with Amazon, at NO additional cost.  When you shop on Amazon, the Amazon Smile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the cost of all eligible products to your chosen charity.  Please click on the link below to support Ravenswod School:
