School Cleaners

Hours: Part time 15hrs per week, term time plus 2 days
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2027
Salary: JG2 £25.614
Actual salary: £8,882 per annum.

Ravenswood School is a special school in Nailsea, for young people with Special Educational Needs. We are seeking to appoint a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our expanding team as soon as possible. Working under the direction of the Cleaner in Charge, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning and routine maintenance services across the school. This role is essential in helping us maintain a hygienic, healthy and safe environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will have:
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, although full training will be provided.
• Basic literacy skills equivalent to NQF Level 2, including the ability to read and understand instructions and complete basic records.
• The ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision.
• A positive attitude, good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• The ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
