• We carefully plan each child’s transition into Ravenswood, meeting with families and professionals who already know the child well.
• Daily communication with parents/carers is important even if families live a distance from the school. We always write a message in the home-school diary and are available for phone calls.
• Shelly Smith, our Family Support Advisor and Liz Mullane our Healthcare Assistant are always ready to meet with families. Katie Barnes, our Deputy Headteacher is an expert in early years provision for children with complex needs. Please do contact us, no worry is too small or question too silly.
• Every term we have tea and coffee afternoons which are informal ways to talk with staff and meet other families.
